Aftercare Services with Aquamation

At Heart in Home, I believe compassionate care extends beyond a pet’s final moments. To ensure continuity of care, transparency, and gentle handling at every step, aftercare services are provided through Furevergreen Pet Aquamation. Furevergreen is locally owned and operated by myself and my husband, Luke. This integrated approach allows your pet to remain in our care from end-of-life support through aftercare.

Aquamation (Water-Based Cremation)

Aquamation—also known as alkaline hydrolysis—is a gentle, water-based alternative to traditional cremation. Using warm water, alkali, and time, this process mirrors natural decomposition without flame or emissions. The mineral remains are similar in appearance to cremated ashes and may be kept, scattered, or memorialized.

Your pet is cared for individually, and the remains returned are solely those of your pet.

All remains are returned to your regular veterinary office within 3 weeks or can be picked up at our facility Monday-Friday by appointment.

Communal Aquamation

Pets are cared for together and remains are respectfully scattered.
